Conectiv Energy Unsuccessfully Pleas with Deleware Delegates for Reconsideration

WBOC-TV16 reports last month the Public Service Commison and other delegates of Deleware rejected a reconsideration plea from Conectiv Energy, a natural gas energy company, due to a proposed wind power agreement with Bluewater Winds and Delmarva Power. Conectiv also unsuccessfully argued that they should have the right submit a competing bid for wind power. Bluewater Winds has proposed a 600 megawatt wind farm in the Atlantic Ocean opposed to Conectiv’s proposed 180 megawatt gas-powered generation plant in north Deleware.
