Community Run Wind Farm in U.K. in Need of Local Support
BBC News reports a community-run wind farm proposal is in need of support from locals to build three or four wind turbines in Selkirk, United Kingdom. The owner of the land is already in support of the idea, and the Selkirk Regeneration Group feels the wind farm would mean both green power and cash for the town.
