AEP Subsidiaries Sign 20-Year Agreement to Purchase Wind Energy
Columbus Business Journal reports Appalachian Power and Indiana Michigna Power have agreed to purchase 200 megawatts of wind energy from Fowler Ridge Wind Farm in Indiana. Both companies are subsidiaries of American Electric Power Company and are part of the initiative to expand renewable energy sources. AEP plans to add 1,000 more megawatts of energy to their portfolio by the year 2011.
