DTE Recruits Heritage Sustainable Energy to Help with Green Current Renewable Energy Program

Freep.com reports DTE Energy has signed an agreement with Heritage Sustainable Energy LLC which will allow for construction of a new wind farm in Richland, Michigan. The agreement is designed for Heritage to provide wind energy for DTE’s Green currents Renewable Energy Program that will help to account for 1% of DTE’s electric generation capacity to come from renewable sources.  This program will allow for consumers to purchase blocks of renewable energy to offset monthly electrical usages.
