Taiwan Looks to Increase Wind Power Using Off Shore Sites
The China Post reports Taiwan, China is looking to cut coal and gas imports by increasing wind power capacity by ten times. The problem may be where to place so many turbines. A portion of $3 billion would be allotted for installation of underground transmission lines from off-shore turbines.
