Wyoming Historic District Slated for Wind Project

The Green River Star reports the Planning and Zoning Department recently approved a wind project in Green River, Wyoming.  The site location has been controversial to some residents while others are encouraged at the idea of clean energy.  Apparently, the land is considered multi-use.  So, while it will visually impact Wild Horse Loop, a historic site, and interfere with a popular marathon, the county still views it as multi-use.
