Lifestyle Changes Are Key

Nancy Jackson, head of The Land’s Institute Climate and Energy Project, feels Kansas could greatly assist with their potential for wind power generation. The Climate and Energy Project focuses on several solutions to energy problems: efficiency, conservation, and renewable energy. Other speakers focused on changes of lifestyle to have the greatest impact - one suggestion included improving the rail system now for heavier use in the future.
