Odessa, Texas is the New Windy City
TradingMarkets.com reports Ector County, Texas will soon have more wind turbines constructed. Nearly 70 turbines will be built for a cost of $300 million for one project. American Shorelines has submitted an application with the school district for another project. County Judge Susan Redford was contacted by companies with proposals for two additional projects and Invenergy will build a wind farm on Sonny Henderson’s ranch, all in the name of wind power. These projects will use appraised value limitations that the Texas Legislature had passed.
