Environmental Bragging Rights Could Prove Useful to Delaware Residents
The Daily Times Online reports the Public Service Commission suspects an offshore wind project in Dover, Delaware could solve the states’ renewable energy contribution. The Commission says the project is contingent upon spreading its cost to industrial Delmarva Power ratepayers. Bluewater Wind would manage the 150 turbine project that would allow residential customers to pay $6.50 a month for electricity if the project goes through. The companies sharing these costs will pay more, but will receive environmental bragging rights.
