New York Town Agrees on Feasibility Study
Herkimer Telegram reports Frankfort, New York has agreed to undergo a feasibility study to test for the potential of hosting wind turbines. The town began considering wind turbines when the New York Power Authority advised there could be an increase in rates. Frankfort Town Council has enforced the understanding they are only interested in the feasibility study at this time, they are not endorsing the wind turbines themselves.
