Lawsuit Appeal over Wind Energy
KLTV.com reports TXU plans to appeal a decision made in a dispute over wind energy. The company claims that Florida Power and Light Energy failed to meet contract agreements that required a certain amount of wind energy from three wind farms in Texas. The energy provider argues that the power couldn’t be delivered because TXU had clogged the high-voltage transmission lines. TXU is looking to be awarded $46 million in damages and interest.
