Renewable Energy Storage Units Make King Island Self Sufficient

Herald Sun reports King Island in Australia boasts six carbon block energy storage units.  Each of these units, resembling a shipping container, can store electricity from solar and wind energy sources and release it again.  Once the network is complete, King Island will be close to self-sufficient running on renewable energy sources alone.
