Ground Breaks for Nebraska Wind Farm
KTIV.com reports NPPD and Midwest Wind Energy broke ground for the Elkhorn Ridge wind project in Bloomfield, Nebraska. The 80MW wind farm will be the state’s largest, providing enough electricity for 25,000 residences. The $140 million project is expected to be complete by the end of 2008.
