Community Based Wind Project Utilizes New State Law
Brownfield Network reports the Elkhorn Ridge Wind Facility broke ground near Bloomfield, Nebraska. The 27 turbines are expected to generate enough electricty for 25,000 homes. This is the first project to utilize a new state law passes that will allow public entities to purchase renewable energy from community-based wind partnerships.
