NY Power Authority Refuses Clean Coal

Written on July 27, 2008

Earth2Tech reports New York Power Authority doesn’t have financial backing for a planned $1.5 billion coal plant by NRG Energy.  This isn’t the first time NRG Energy has been put on the back burner, last year Delmarva revisited plans for a coal plant to invest in Bluewater’s offshore wind farm.
