Maryland Considers Jumping on Offshore Wind Project
Cape Gazette reports Maryland’s Governor is interested in jumping on board with Delaware in the offshore Bluewater Wind project. The larger the project the less risk involved and the greator economic benefits to all parties. Delmarva Power will purchase 200 MW of wind power from the project. For the project to expand to 600 MW generating capacity, Maryland would have to be a secured customer.
