Wind Turbine Blade Breaks Off
Earth2Tech reports a wind turbine blade broke off. The breakage of the Suzlon turbine is said to be related to a recall that took place in March. The accident can be associated to a design flaw that causes the blades to crack, the incident has caused millions of dollars of orders to be cancelled. The Reliawind project is comprised of wind energy companies that wish to improve the reliability of turbines. Currently, the U.S. has experienced 51 turbine failures.
