China raises clean energy target to 15 percent

CNBC reports that China plans to impose 15% of its total energy consumption on clean energy, to be implemented in an as yet unpublicized renewable energy program. The 10-year renewable energy promotion program includes spending billions of dollars on nuclear and solar power plants, wind farms, and research on technology. There was no word on when the program will be unveiled.
