Connecticut to see its first wind farm
Courant.com reports that the Wind Colebrook LLC wind project may finally be submitted for approval to the Connecticut Siting Council. This may be possible after a 180-foot meteorological tower has reported data in favor of the project. It had previously caused a stir when the tower was erected without a public hearing. Now, one of expected potential problems could be the aesthetics of turbines in the scenic Colebrook area.
