Broad Mountain challenges wind ordinance changes
RepublicanHerald.com reports that Broad Mountain Development Co., LLC has filed an appeal challenging revisions to Butler Township’s wind ordinances. The developer alleged the town supervisors failed to observe standard protocol in making the said amendments that provided for zoning ordinances. Broad Mountain had planned to put up 27 wind turbines in the area.
