Carn Hill wind farm construction approved
Newtownabbey Times reports that the Carn Hill wind farm in Northern Ireland has been approved for construction in mid-2011. Developer Gaelectric will construct six 101-meter turbines capable of providing electricity to around 8,200 homes. This will be Gaelectric’s first development project in Northern Ireland.
