Controversial wind farm approved by planners

The Northern Echo reports that planners bcaked proposals for four 132 meter tall wind turbines, despite a plea from angry campaigners that they will be a blot on the landscape. People living in the surrounding area set up the Bullamoor Wind Farm Action Group to fight the plans on several grounds, including the visual impact of the turbines and the small amount of energy they will create.
