Emerging Energy News reports the British Wind Energy Association has asked the United Kingdom government for assistance in ensuring the country will meet its renewable energy goals.  The economy has caused large scale wind projects to be placed on hold that would be critical in meeting targets of 40% energy needs from renewable sources by 2020.
